Hey......we get it. You need money and i need money and im the one employed! You do the math....besides, i think someone up top already answered you back....you might want to see if someone can scrounge up the acting MD engineer guys contact. Its all done by lufthansa, lufthansa cityline, and samco. If you need a plug its its probably not gonna be with funding. I just kick the tire and start the fire...dont know jack about maintanence training student loans.

You might try the Nigerian lottery. I win something like TWO BILLION US DOLLARS every week or two. Please keep this in confidence.

Arik'd Again

just heard Arik have terminated the CC flying the A330 based in london SCM remain on payroll ( in london) !!!

I don't think I understand this. Did they sack ALL the expat Cabin Crew on the A330? Or just the CC on a particular trip?

Why is the Senior CCM still around?

*************************************

EDIT: Got the answers:

They are keeping all 9 senior cabin crew (from London).

Then there is 26 main crew and they getting rid of 17, to leave 9 main crew.

They will find out on Friday, 5 Nov 10, who it is going to be. They may get 2 weeks notice.

******************************************

When they started the A330 program (with almost zero real planning), they had London based CC who were hired by this company, who then quit their previous job, only to be made redundant before they even started on day 1. Just another way to get Arik'd (<--- ****)

Secondly..... Arik - takes money from government to turn into future laundered airplanes money. Has never made a pence. Doubtful it ever will.

I am no expert in African/Nigerian aviation but that is a serious allegation to make and could jeapordise relations that the airline has with government agencies. it's one thing talking about the conditions that pilots face, quite another to indicate laundering.
Any real info on this or is it just hearsay and speculation?
GPU,

Here ya go....

The term "Free Cashflow" comes to mind...perhaps just "cashflow?" However, they are doing it...they are doing it.

Lump sum payments are hard when you dont know, or if the monies are even coming in?

Oh well...money in bank, now onto this matter of "A330 ccms" being released and whatnot?

Danger Arik Pay Day in JNB / Cabin Crew / uh-huh A-check where with who....??

Well it looks as if things are on the turn and not neccessarily in a good way..... Ex-pats in Nigeria may have got paid on time (surprise-surprise) but I hear that JNB staff had to wait until the 3rd - first time for them late payment.... Apparently some bull given about local banks made an error.... likely story as I am sure you all know from up North. Who had that Voodoo chicken? Send it down to JNB ......

As for European Cabin crew I hear it's all the crew except 7 cabin managers.... And did anyone hear about the Arik embarrassing cancelled flight out of JNB for an A-check..... problem was someone forgot to mention to SAA that they were to do this Check.... I see the aircraft stood at SAA overnight for no reason....does anyone have any further details?
