I attended a recent meeting about the closure of Abuja airport, hosted by the Deputy Minister for Aviation. He rambled on about how it was disgrace that a country like Nigeria had no national airline lol! Only in Nigeria...

So latest rumour - seems like Arik AIr was a boiler room similar to "The Wolf of Wall street" There is talk that Arik Air had over 300 false IDs of pilots in order to wash money out of the company...... No wonder they were doing so well... At least for the crooks anyway...
