One of those warty Italian AF Gulf V's just came south over here out of Waddington, presumably it had been part of whatever exercise has been going on...
Just eyeballed 727 G-OSRB overhead Beeston en route SEN-HUY. Gin clear sky, and the first 727 I can recall seeing inflight for donkey's years.
AF1 went over the top of London this morning on it's way eastwards. Shame my upturned skywards eye didn't know, as there was nothing but blue earlier on. Oh well......
Spitfire at Ayr, few turns along the esplanade. G-RRGN

If it was easier to copy/paste images here I would paste one of the track.
Preceded by a T-6 Texan (Harvard?). G-CORS

A Red Arrow dropping into Prestwick? Presumably more of them.

NEOMMMMM ... NEOMMMMM ... NEOMMMMM audible inside the house. Let's see what that is ...
A Belgian Air Force A400, at altitude over London, returning home south-eastwards from somewhere. I really do wonder when the military last had such a noisy aircraft you can hear coming from goodness knows how many miles away, and get ready for. Can it have been in the original spec - 'enemy must be able to hear you coming at cruising height, from inside their accommodation, when you are still 10 miles away' ?That was a Cavok An12 doing a sudden ship out from Birmingham of the replacement engine for a BRAND NEW Jet2 A321 stuck with a completely failed engine in Turkey. Notable how the Old Girls (50 years old ?) are still needed to support the brand new ones

It was Air at Ayr day, their annual air show. I couldn't go this time as I was needed in Edinburgh. I'm sure it was excellent as previous displays have been.

Pilatus PC-12, large single engine turboprop, came noisily overhead London City, and right across London, at 2,000 ft late last night. Wonder what their procedure was if an engine failure ...

NATO E-3 on it's way back to a secret Lincolnshire RAF base having been orbiting mid-North Sea. Just distracted by an unmistakeably P-3 shape on ADS-B Exchange - BuNo 156517 a USN EP-3E operating over Romania - using up some airframe hours prior to the scheduled OSD of 2025.
Yes, civvy Hercs! They belong to a company in Texas and seem to fly missions where it doesn't look good to have military aircraft flying into/out of certain places for certain reasons. I think there/s a handful of them flying, they were regulars a while back, though I haven't noticed any over the UK for a bit.

Lockheed 12 G-AFTL making stately progress NE across Kent out of Goodwood - that'd have been nice to see. Heading towards Dartford Crossing...

I can see a Canadian Cassutt cracking round the pylons at Reno!

RAF Support
About 0945 an unusual turbo prop sound, very quiet . Unusual wing planform and FR24 shows it to be a Dornier 228 en route Brize to Jersey. . Canadian owned, operated by Summit Air on behalf of RAF. -Do we have to outsource everything as a country these days - what does this do, certainly quite stealthy noise wise
