Absolutely no idea, didn't even know they had it! It's been around for a while, suffered some damage on the ground at Moses Lake and was stored in various places including Basle before KAL acquired it recently.

The WC-135 popped up again and lobbed into an airfield in Qatar.

After quite an interval, Ukrainian-registered Antonov-26s seem to be back regularly, operating out of Birmingham and overhead London. One came over at about 0100 early this morning. Sketchy details on FR24 and ADSB, though I presume they are filing flight plans. Normal trade is car components to various Eastern European assembly plants..

Single engine straight across the middle of London, straight over Waterloo...? Apparently a PA-28. I can hear it in the distance, certainly sounds like a Lycoming. Surely not legal?

We get them quite regularly north-south, directly overhead the London City NDB I presume, often during the weekend closure period. Hmmm indeed.

This was N > S right over Waterloo Station, what 7 or 8 miles west of the NDB? Is it possible to get special VFR or some such clearance? Alight clear is going to be in a public park or the Thames!

I saw a new S76 on the UK-register yesterday, old steed. It used to be a US-regd that was busy over the summer ferrying the great and useless to various summer events.

This morning, just before 10am a Typhoon lifted off noisily from Northolt headed NE. Certainly made a few non-spotters look skywards. Anyone know why it had been in NHT ?

There was an enthusiasts' photo night-shoot at Northolt Thursday evening, and the Typhoon stayed the weekend.

German Transall A400 grumbled over earlier this evening out of Goose, currently heading to land somewhere SE of Stuttgart...

Thanks for that. Lovely for the snappers, but I'm surprised that the RAF could entertain such events what with their overseas commitments and North Sea patrols.

There was also a Chilean A/F 737-330QC last night, according to FR24

Blimey! Presume -330QC means it's ex-Lufthansa?

Did anyone else buy QC 737s? Seem to recall some LH 727-30s were QCs, can't recall the 230s...

Nice! "Swissair" DC-3 N431HM just gone into Biggin Hill! Like to see that in the flesh!

Re G-AXNA/B/C, they were 204Cs rather than QCs and had freight doors. If I knew that I'd forgotten it!

Airbus A321 XLR crosswind testing ongoing in BIKF, the home of strong crosswinds, video here: https://www.visir.is/k/aff09466-202f...-1696965059829

Apparently reached a 42 KTS X-wind component.

Yes, serial 922 ex D-ABXC. Departed TLV about ten minutes ago - no destination shown.

Appears to have flown from Chile via Madrid to the eastern Med - or did it pop up in this neck of the woods en route?

No tracking available on FR 24, probably for good reason. I imagine one of the spotters groups in Europe will have picked up on it, though. I wonder if that aircraft has extra tanks, in which case it could have routed Chile/Brazil/Azores/Madrid, then direct TLV.
