Interesting aircraft - what have you seen on your computer today?

Be grinding over me a few minutes unless it turns towards Worthing or Seaford... surprisingly quiet considering he's only at 17000'! Nice view...
A Qantas A380 has just gone past in the distance heading into LHR. I thought it was a weird looking Virgin A350 at first! I've not knowingly seen a Qantas 380 for perhaps 3 years.

QF001 swapped to Darwin for the last few days that it operated with the A388 in March 2020, before being suspended until last November when the route was reinstated with the B789.
I never knew! I had noticed the odd QF 380 flight between SYD and LAX in the last month or so, but had no idea that it was going to operate into the UK again. Perhaps might another operator de-mothball their currently stored 380's ?
On a smaller scale a rather noisy FAF E121 Xingu went N-S over London a little while ago. So small, so loud!

Think 5 red arrows just departed Farnborough, nothing showing on any trackers, unusual for them to drop in here. Must be for Headcorn/Goodwood displays today. [Edit: checked NOTAMS and they are using EGLF as their base today for Headcorn and Goodwood]

Oh Wow !!!
1440 this afternoon, B17 bomber straight overhead Chateau WHBM (blob on ADSB chart) at 1,500 feet
Heard the engines coming from inside the house, no time to go outside, just looked through the window and there it went.
Treadders, did you get it ? Looks like it was overhead for you as well.

Noted going north a couple of weeks ago.
One of the baker's dozen of Dutch Navy examples that they withdrew in 2005 (the last fixed-wing type that Kon Marine operated). Most went to Germany, plus 5 to Portugal.

No, too far east for me, I'm about five miles west of Biggin. I'd have seen it from where I enjoyed breakfast this morning! Missed it when it nearly flew overhead to/from Dunsfold a year or two back, saw it on the same mission when I was doing some Saturday work in my Croydon office a few years back.
