Interesting aircraft - what have you seen on your computer today?
Another AN-26 of Vulkan Air went over me around 8am, still noisy, but doing 253kts it was on it's way relatively quickly. A NL AF A332 Tanker went by London in the last hour east to west headed out toward the Atlantic.

Aye, heard the AN-26 pass over... Now sipping coffee and occasionally observing the Biggin approach, missed a Honda jet sneaking in. Also a US registered Maule allegedly in formation with a Norwegian Cub...
A Hunter XE704 is having a nice canter across the Midlands and the SW UK at the moment. Nice to see the classics still being flown and in this case commercially (?).

I think I just heard Prince Charles thunder past in a S-76... outta Gatcombe and certainly one of the Queen's Flight.

Heard that one too - thread titled should perhaps read Antonov rather than aircraft! Around the same time, ADSB-E told me a Czech L410 was departing Biggin. Plane Finder told me it was a Czech Citation with a different reg. Speed and rate of climb makes me think the Citation is what it was...

KXP685 into Hong Kong
Any FR24 pros out there? I noted that one of the most watched flights today was KX685 which was inbound to Hong Kong. When I clicked on the flight it seemed to have had a bit of a trek around the houses with what I assume was a go around and then many holds. I watched it come back round only for it to go around again and head north. It then appeared to be lining up for Guangzhou Baiyan airport was down to about 2,500ft then disappeared.
Any ideas what happened, or was it an erroneous trace? The winds at Hong Kong were a little bit gusty.
Thanks in advance.
Rob

Thank Mr Witchell! Got me residences in a right royal rat's nest... PoW of course is at Highgrove, only a minute or two away by S-76...
Bit of a tangent, but having found this photo by random chance, I was wondering if anyone recognises the 3 aircraft (operators/country)in the background in front of the cargo centre ? Seem to be biz-jet, but parked too far from the Fieldings hangar/apron.

The one on the left I thought was in the old DHL colour scheme?

Bravo! I wasn't sure if that was a 767 or L1011 due to the sun glinting on the left side of the cockpit obscuring the shape, and the Aramco a G3 ? I can remember seeing the 727 a few times, it kept fooling me that it was a JAT 727 in it's other colour-scheme You must have been a regular with that spotter knowledge. I seem to remember, though can't recall in which decade, but that front edge apron of the cargo centre seemed to be the preferred stopping points for the Seabord World and Flying Tiger DC-8's, whilst the bays seemed to be for the 747's. Apart from some Royal flights, most of the exec stuff seemed to park by Hunting though perhaps during the construction of T4 there was less/no room ?

Think it's a GII rather than a GIII but it's a bit hard to tell if it has winglets or not.

Oh, wing fences, so it does! Hadn't noticed before that the III doesn't have them. Favourite BJs, the II and III, the 600/650 may be marvellous performers but somehow not as attractive.

Two AN-26s in less than 10 minutes - is this a record?
I was just going to ask the same thing.
In-between I managed to do a good deed for someone who had a disagreement with some broken pavement. When I heard the 2nd one I thought that the first had circled around for some unknown reason.
