law doubts!!
Hey there is some confusion with these quest kindly clarify it. thks!!
If a light/ medium a/c Taking off behind heavy a/c whats the separation minima?? (Is it 2mts or 3mts)
If a light/ medium a/c Landing behind heavy a/c whats the separation minima?? (Is it 2mts or 3mts)
Incucation period of yellow fever? (6days or 8 days)

i appreciate the fact that most of you found time to send in your valuable inputs about ISothermal stability.
But ,in Isothermal: salr=dalr, which is also the property for neutral stability!
If anyone could offer a convincing explanation to this confused individual then it would help immensely
Thanks in advance saviour(s)

i correct myself, i went thru surinder singh sir's notes again
wind neither effect endurance nor ROD, it effects range, range decreases if aircraft experience HW and vice-versa

simple logic
if Tem of air mass = x
Tem of air(outside)= x
if air mass is lifted due to adiabatic cooling its Tem is now less than x
but Tem of air(outside) is still x
so the air mass is cooler

Due to wake turbulence medium ac behind heavy shall wait at least 2mins for t/o and light ac behind medium or heavy for 3 mins.
CO PY RE ST :

Roll Number 5 Digits
Hey People,
Hope your studies are going well! I have a concern that unlike other friends of mine appearing for Jet on Sunday, My roll number is 5 digits 25*** and reference series is 67***.
Please help! Could this be by mistake?
Thanks
Harry

in IFR, land as soon as practical if vmc conditions exists otherwise fly flight plan, maintain last assigned altitude, or MEA or filed altitude whichever is greater, commence ur approach at ETA

1) What is Aerodynamic Centre (AC) ?
2) At 0* angle of attack, what will be the pressure differential around the wings i.e. will it be no pressure diff OR will it be lower pressure above the wings??
3) Minimum no. of satellites for GPS position and RAIM ??
Is it 4/5 ?

1/Aerodynamic Centre is the point where lift acts that is CP.
2.for a symmetrical airfoil-yes there will be no pressure diffrence and zero lift produced.
=>for a asymmetrical aerofoil-ther will be lower pressur above the upper wing surface and higher below .
=>for a asymmetrical aerofoil lift is zero at -4 deg AOA.
3.for a simultaneous 3d fix -4 satellites are reqd..

aerodynamic center and center of pressure are two different things
aerodynamic center is the point on an airfoil where aerodynamic moment remains constant with AOA
center of pressure is the point through which lift acts.
AC for an airfoil is a fix point for any AOA
CP changes with AOA

RAIM
To obtain a 3D position solution, at least 4 measurements are required. To detect a fault, at least 5 measurements are required, and to isolate and exclude a fault, at least 6 measurements are required, however often more measurements are needed depending on the satellite geometry. Typically there are 7 to 12 satellites in view.

As it is Saturday today I don't think Jet office would be open. Any idea if any one else in similar situation. I had seen couple of other guys getting chennai as their center instead of they had chosen. Should I just go to mumbai center any ways or shuld i go to chennai (i have my flight booked which is refundable)
