If you want a job, be ready to go to any place.

Since they called you to chennai..Go there...
If you are not very keen on getting a job, go to mumbai, any other center and be ready to not be able to give the exam....

i got chennai as well... i had applied for mumbai. i asked hr but they said its full which i dont beleive...cause many people have applied more than once...
especially those who went to get their ir renewed..... because of them we have to suffer the loss....im sure there is gonna be seats vacant at mumbai...but cant take the risk...they might not let us sit for the exam.

ALL THE BEST GUYS..! hope to see everyone on this forum flying high soon..!

all guys who had applied for Mumbai, and have received center as Chennai, have been admitted to Dahanukar College (nxt to sathye college), Mumbai...

sorry, i dont know whom to contact, but a vry good frnd whose roll no was 19XX initially had got chennai, and today mumbai for the same roll no.

shortage of classrooms has been solved by adding one more college apart frm sathey,,,ie dahanukar college

an aircraft on hdg 124(T) measures qdr of VOR to be 303.If deviation on this hdg is 2 degree E and Variation is 1 degree W.What is QUJ?


a radio station on ground bears 312(relative) at aircraft flying on heading 058 (M).If var is 1 deg E and dev is 2 deg W, calculate QDM and QTE


also is someone could please explain the answers.

hence qdm=123deg
var=1degw or -1deg
quj=qdm-1 (converting mag to true)
=123-1
=122deg.



rb=312deg
hdg(M)=058deg
qdm=010deg.
hence, qdr=190deg.
var=1deg(E) or +1deg
qte=qdr+1
=191deg.
quj=qdm+1
=011deg.

in both the numericals dev is given but since we are not converting any variable to compass hence it can be ignored.

delhi attempt 1st paper was technical, time limit 50 minits, from 1100 hrs to 1150hrs...entry started 1105hrs, entered in classroom 1113hrs then filled name and other details, read the instructions, and started paper at 1125hrs, got only 25min. to attempt...totally unfair

paper no.4 screwed my mind up

unlike in the letter, cx2/ calculators were allowed! but there wasnt a requirement though as there weren't any complex sums.
on the whole, cooperative supervisors though. but time keeping was lax.

How was the exam compared to last time??
How do the guys rate it with rest to the Aug attempt??
Was it easy or Tough.
Also this my first attempt and I found it tough especially the folding images time consuming...

Jet Exam Delhi

CX2/CALC were not allowed though i saw it lying on one person desk.

Due to late entry many were left short on time for the first[technical ] paper.I saved my A** in this one.

Paper 4 was mind boggling and gave me a shock...just attempted 12-15 q's.

Paper 4 really was time consuming, as all sorts of shapes you could possibly imagine came, not just the simple cubes. The marking scheme is another problem, 1 negative mark compared to 1/4 in the others.
