Thumbs up Aptitude test

@RAC3RX

Someone uploaded a very concise and accurate account of the aptitude test early in the forum. You can just search for it using the search function.

Good Luck for your 2nd round.

Thanks

Hi guys, need your help. Do you know if after complete application in silkroad, if status is BLANK, instead of a like “Application” or “Interviewing”, then blank means auto rejected?

Any hints will be helpful and grateful for. Good luck to all applying.

I waited for a week. I have friends who applied months ago and they have an Application status after submitting their application successfully. I wonder if SIA changed anything now or its just me who has a blank status. Yanni are you also applying? Any forumers also applying? Maybe we can consolidate a list of people who has a status(before confirmed interviewing by SIA) and those like me who has a blank status.
Thanks.

Chugo - 1 week is still pretty early in the application phrase i guess although I’ve heard of people getting a response the next day after application. Not sure how does SIA check through all these applications but maybe you’d want to give them a call regarding this issue?

Hi dhillion0312, I dont think so because it states in the application form that you have to either be a Singapore Citizen, Malaysian Citizen or Permanent Residency.
Maybe you can apply for the direct entry instead since you already have the required licenses?

Thanks.. so there's Shiraz, Stallone and myself. Let's see if there's any forummers willing to share if they have an "Application" status after submitting in silkroad.

Hi, 3 questions.

1) Is there any way to obtain the latest "abba" from u guys? I have a pretty outdated copy with me.

2) Is it true SIA are specially recruiting Indian nationals( no flying exp) for ab-initio cadets?

3) Now in SIA, to become captain it takes 12- 15 years and no longer 8-10 years?

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

FYI, I have friends that clear all the interview plus medical and they wait months without any reply.

Also some of them passed medical and were rejected by SIA with no explanation whatsoever by them.

Hi all

Is it true that SIA will send out rejection email on the following Monday after the first interview if they are to reject you?

So is it mean that I am safe and pending for second round of interview if I didn't receive any email on the following Monday after my first interview?

I have waited for 3 weeks now since my first interview and still haven't receive any reply from SIA yet. Everybody been telling me that no news is good news. I just hope that I won't receive a rejection email from SIA at this moment or else I would be very disappointed.

Thanks in advance.

Working in any airline is not as "good" as it used to be.

Just watch the new TV series Pan Am to get an idea.
