Hi guys, I'm from the opposite, I read plenty of your post and seems very positive reply from SIA. But I applied twice since August and October, and no reply ever since. Is it true SIA only take Singaporean only? Can someone clear my doubt. Thanks in advance.

Nope,not yet,haven't hear back from the HR
But I guess as long I didn't receive rejection email on the following Monday after my first interview,I should be safe
How long did you wait after your first interview before you got their reply?
Hope I would hear back from them soon
I guess the next second round of interview will be at 16th Nov

Anyway,how was your second round of interview?
Hope you did it well and managed to go through
Care to share especially about the aptitude test?
If I am selected for second interview,I will be quite worry about the aptitude test

You can refer to SIA career websites.
At the moments,they are only take in Singaporean,PR or Malaysian.
Where are you from by the way?

I'm from Malaysia, the reason I'm asking is because most of the guys here having interview were from Singaporean. So I feel something is not right. I have CPL + Multi IR with fATPL. Maybe I'm still not qualify for this.

DL, dont worry about the aptitude test, dont think we can help you in any way as it is very unpredictable sort of test. one thing for sure, make sure u have good rest the night before, like really good rest and clear your mind. and sure to do ur toilet everything before going for that test. take your time to answer, but do not take too much time. hand leg and eye coordination also important. i believe thats all we can say.

did my final interview and medical 1st week of sept. for those who going for final interview during this times november and get it, most probably ill be joining you guys. let me know if u heard anything as im still not sure on which course i will join.

I waited 3 weeks before I got their reply.

2nd interview was a grill fest man. they didnt make it easy for me nor the other 6 candidates. i'll share more in detail at a later date with a more comprehensive post, kinda in the middle of sth at the moment.

medical was this morning. will call ST medical svsc in 2 weeks to find out if bloodwork and urine test was okay. as for the other components of the medical test (hearing, blood pressure, ECG, ENT, etc) u will know on the spot if it's okay.

according to one of the medical doctors at the checkup, the requirements for civil aviation is not difficult to pass if u are the average healthy and fit adult. the acceptable parameters for civil aviators are less tight on the whole compared to combat flying (pertaining to military pilots).

2nd interview aptitude

Hello,

I have my second interview with SIA shortly.
Can someone tell me what kind of questions are asked in the aptitude test? I understand the questions asked are random but some examples would be nice.

Also how how long does the final interview go for and what questions are asked is it pretty tough to clear for people with prior flying experience.

And what percentage of people make it through.

Also can someone tell me what OBS stands for??
