Hi Guys,
New to this forum as well. Waiting to grad from a local uni in Dec and was told to call HR only after that in order for my application process to proceed. Went for 1st and 2nd interview already but not medical yet. Funny thing is that I turn 25 in Dec as well so I dont really know if its the degree issue or the age issue. Any bros care to chip in with their thoughts?

hi im planning to submit my application for SIA pilot. doing this for the first time so i need some help.
what are the necessary docs i need to submit besides the cv and resume which can be done online? do i have to mail my relevant education transcripts and docs together with the cover letter to their address????
and what about the 'expected gross salary' column, what amount is a appropriate amount??

umustb: They will most likely schedule you for a course once you reach 25yrs 6 months. It has always been a myth for the age issue and if you read through the forum, myself and d1ce did ask about the age issue.
sisteensept10: Understand from older posts, it's all the OBS activities with alot of kayaking... yup it's confirmed end November.

Hopefully things do turn out as planned.
Hope for the best! Good luck to the rest.

@ howl85 - Hey, I believe it's most likely the Degree course that you're taking. But fret not, 2 more months to you completing the course. Hang in there.!
@ duyentranvan - Hey, it doesn't matter if you have a motorcycle licence. As long as you meet their requirements. You're good to apply!
@ Dennis84 - Hey, from application to invitation, that's really fast indeed! Congrats on your call up and all the best for your 1st interview!
Do look thru this thread and also google about SIA cadet pilot interviews. You'll find a lot of information online. Most importantly, go there and be yourself.
@ hopeful11 - Hey, other than your CV/resume that you've submitted online. You can also submit your cover letter. As for the other education transcripts, they'll only check thru them when you get called down for an interview, so you don't need to upload them online.
As for that, just put a figure. Say $1200 should be alright. Hope that helps.
Cheers

@hopeful 11: There is no specific format for the cover letter. As the interviewer pretty much vary with every interview session so you will not know who is your interviewer. All the best.
