Sincere condolences

I just wanted to send my sincere condolences to the families of those who died so tragically yesterday. My friends at Helicopter Services are in my thoughts at this difficult time.

Herts Fire Control report a helicopter has crashed at Aldbury near Tring. Helicopter was reported as 'smoking' and power lines have been affected. One report says the pilot is unhurt - let's hope...

How to turn off auto-correction on your iPad

MisterB, This used to send me bonkers too! Go to 'Settings', 'General', 'Keyboard' and then slide the 'auto-correction' switch to off. Calmness will then prevail. :O

Helicopter Evacuation Procedures Checklist

Isn't this normally covered in the POH (Pilot's Operating Handbook) for the particular type? For example Robinson ones are usually available on line and cover this for their types.
