LAZER LIGHT SHOW

Egypt protests 2013: Shocking images of anti-Morsi protesters trying to bring down army helicopter | Mail Online

It does make you wonder why the helicoper pilot put himself in that position particularly with the obvious proliferation of l a z e r pointers at the protests.

BBC News Report

A BBC news reporter, showing images of green lasers being pointed skywards in the main square in Egypt has just said something along the lines that every time a helicopter flies past, and there have been a regular stream of them, people in the crowd are shining lasers at the aircraft in an 'exceptional show of gratitude'! I doubt the pilots are pleased about that although it does seem that the crowd are doing it in a misplaced gesture of thanks, rather than aggression.
