My parents had the doubtsome experience to see the KQ 757 taking off from Bujumbura in July 1990 with me in it. A second or two after rotation - one of the main wheels came jumping down the runway.

With 8-9 weekly flights each uplifting 50 ? tonnes - you would need quite a convoy to haul the fuel from the east coast...
