SNN stopover

What has this got to do with EU-US open skies talks ?

Also I am not sure that the US will accept...

Last UK scheduled flights that I remember were BA Tristar's back in late 1980's. Don't they still hold the...

Gulf slips

BA moved out on advice from the UK Dept for Transport and UK Security agencies that their crew were under threat while slipping at all these stations. As they aren't all 'gulf veterans' like you SLF,...

Looks like the ERJ135 will need floats for LCY then !

Not suprised that they were expecting the aircraft to operate to LCY as adding up was never Patrick Raftery's strong point.

But he could...

Bermuda II

I understand there is some obscure fine print in Bermuda II that does allow british carriers who operate to a city not served by an american carrier to operate from either LHR or LGW.

Centralised load control

BMi used to have their load control done centrally in the UK somewhere. Why did they stop ? SAS do all their loadsheets for airports outside Scandinavia in BKK I think. BA does most of its non UK...

I don't think so....

I understand that British carriers are currently 'strongly recommended' not to fly to Pakistan at present by the UK DfT, for security reasons. Thats why BA's LHR-ISB service is suspended.

No BA Crash

This is just the regular Swanwick ATC failure. LHR on 1 departure every 10minutes at the moment and arrivals may have to be diverted as there is no where at LHR to park them !
