As a short term measure I can see why it's done and imagine it's probably pretty effective in increasing the number of female pilots (which is not a bad thing). But for me it's just about fairness...

Are you waiting to hear from CAE or L3/CTC? I think the latter are usually quite quick to inform whether or not you've met their standard before your file is sent to EZY. Not sure about CAE.

rustydusty is there still a substantial gap between acceptance onto the MPL scheme and commencing training? You mentioned 2018 for yourself.

CAE also just opened a scheme with Volotea but seems more specific that it will be A320 TR. No advertised cost though.

Maybe someone on the course could clarify but I don't believe you are given anything back other than some small form of tax relief if you are UK based. I would go into this on the basis you wont see...

I'm in a similar situation, as are many I'm sure.

For me it would boil down to financing the course. If you are confident you can fund the EZY MPL then there is a lot less uncertainty...
