No worries.... the company I work for hired pilots in their mid 50s...
1500 is a good number.... lots of clients have a 1500hr minimum for pilots.

Make sure you have a 206 or AS350...

Canadian Helicopters pays full time base pilots around 3000 base salary plus 51 per flight hour... at some locations you also get a remote base allowance.

Gallet - pretection standards failed??

I just heard the rumor that the Gallet helmet doesn't meet certain requirements/standards for side impact... can anyone confirm this or does anybody have information regarding this??

where to shop for a Gallet

Does anybody have a recommendation where to look for a new Gallet either in Europe or in North America?? Their website isn't much help at all if you want to locate a dealer...

AVGAS is usually hard to get in those countries...probably one reason why there's so little GA traffic around. Could be a good area for a small tour operator though I think.

I wouldn't think so.... if you look at the job sites there are being instructors hired throughout the year on a fairly constant rate.... little slower in winter time.
