VHF Slant range

If I remember correctly its:-

1.25 X square root of H1(station elevation) + square root of H2( your altitude)

intersection departures

ATC to use HF, full Met office including qualified Forecaster to be set up.

Alternate likely to be Walvis Bay Namibia.

PNR decision based on actual met and forcast will be an exciting modus...

Most places use Safegrip. Does the job without the issues of corrosion that domestic gritting has.

Me thinks it will become as scarce as Rudolf’s droppings if this freeze goes on.
