Unless it's a very very long flight flying faster won't save that much time, but it will burn more fuel.

Time is made up on the ground with quick turn times and short taxi times.

How about just stop making useless PA's mid flight. Do them at the gate, or not at all.

If ATC cannot vector you (and you do not have RNAV) they could clear you direct to a VOR or NDB that will be the IAF or a transition to the IAF....

Singapore aviation is just terrible all around. Operating out of Seletar is a nightmare. I've never seen an airport laid out so horribly. There is so much wasted space with all their parking bays....

Rotating too fast is uncomfortable for pax and crew...

Sadly most US FAs act as law enforcement. I've have FAs ask me to throw a pax off an airplane for not turning of the phone.

Most of the time I'd rather throw the FAs off the aircraft.
