CAAS = Committee Against Aviation in Singapore

Some of you may have dealt with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, and I'm sure for most, dealing with them especially on licensing matters is just a bloody pain in the crack! Any examples to share? I've got one:

To sit for ATPL exams you MUST have Class 2 medical, even if you have Class 1.

Class 1 Initial must be done at ST. Subsequent renewals can be done elsewhere.

Singapore aviation is just terrible all around. Operating out of Seletar is a nightmare. I've never seen an airport laid out so horribly. There is so much wasted space with all their parking bays.

And you need approval from the airport for everything.
