I agree - I don't think they did their marketing really well and let the cat out the bag too early - or they were too eager. If it was me, I would have had at least the AOC in place before starting...

Remember alot of the weight on the aircraft is fuel.. so on a B767, my guess would be, yes, that there was alot of cargo in the forward hold, and/or that the amount of fuel onbaord required more...

Apparently not an engine fire as such ... it was only a seal that went - caused oil to leak onto hot parts of the engine which caused the smoke...
