I'm sorry but the fact is that EgyptAir only hires locals. Plus it's not a great package to save on especially if you plan on sending money home.

If you understand that automatic speed brake deployment may be inoperative so why do you want to arm it ?
Maybe you are directed not to arm it so that you remeber to deploy it manually.

And by the way, personally I always get the persponse "Radar Contact" from ATC especially if its a departure/arrival sector or an FIR boundary.

Finally Egyptair sold it's fleet of 4 b737-500s, scheduled to be delivered to buyer at January 2009. the planes came in service early 90s.

Currrently EgyptAir has 5 B737-800s with 7 more on Boeing...

Well now after RWY 31R is used it's quite a long taxi last time i was there taxiing in took not less than 15-20 mins and there was no body else taxiing besides us, so double it if traffic is heavy......

We used to fly from Cairo to Lagos And Accra FL350 Southbound And FL370 Northbound.

But that's all history now..
Startring from Cairo FIR, Tripolli, Ndjamina, Niamy, Kano, Lagos, it's all RVSM.
