Permits

On the news today in N.Y, it turns out the pilot had a permit to carry the gun. Northwest is not going to pursue any charges or actions as the pilot had the permissable paperwork.

U.S airlines posting enormous losses

With just 2 airlines reporting for the 4th quarter of 2002 so far, the results are not good but better than after the 4th quarter in 2001 after the terrorist attacks.
