If the UK IMCr can soldier on until 2012, that's a whole lot better than October 2008 which was as I recall, the starting point.

That hopefully will allow time to plan for a future in GA IMC...

I think it's a little bit better than 2.3 KG/Litre of carbon, more like 2.9Kg/Imp Gallon from petrol.

Avgas isnt going to be hugely different to that.
