Bottom line is that SAA is a loss making airline, surviving off the taxpayer.
They need to get their house in order first-stop competing with the LCC airlines with their state of the art equipment...

SA 274 returned to JNB just after 2200 last night with a problem in the front cargo hold-either a false warning or possible fire.

They dumped fuel before landing on 03 left with full emergency...

Interesting that SAA gets a mention on this forum-they are so squeaky clean and NEVER have incidents-its only the LCC's and Nationwide that are given recognition for this "honour".

Lucky for SAA...
