Spectacular

The MOD blackhole stands at 12% of its overall budget and coupled with the "announced " 8% cut in defence spending that sounds like a 20% cut to me...hardly spectacular.

If given the option I'd rather sit on a passenger aircraft going somewhere nice than sit behind a military pilot, with minimum flying hours and some sim time going somewhere s**t.

IMHO...

Pay review bodies are as defunked as Unions and Associations at times like these. A flat rate 2%/3% or what ever doesn't sit well with anyone outside of the public service body. Pay freeze and job...
