I have momentarilly ventured out of JB to look at these pics. I have to say that Ned's photo's are among the best I have seen in a long, long while!

Well topendtorque it looks to me like a longline with a bambi bucket attached to it.
On the ground there is a ground sheet with some bush fire fighting foam drums holding it down a yellow bouywall full of water.

It is what helo1 says it is. A fire back in july 06 not far from Grafton. They would not let us dip out of the dams because of contaminating the drinking water,so this had to be set up for bombing purposes. The bouywall is full of foam hence the green containers.
Will post more,now that I have worked it out.
