OK, What type of Helicopter is the tandem rotor shown in the last two photo's?

Bristol 192 Belvedere HC1 you will see a family resemblance to the better known Bristol 171 Sycamore. Not wholly successful but the 'Flying Longhouse' was all the RAF had until they surrendered and got the Chinook. There are still a couple in museums.

There is quite a lot of info on it if you search the name on Google.

Fantastic pictures here lately. I particularly like the one from nrh (well, they're all good, but this one especially) showing the aircrew bag-rations being loaded into the back of the aircraft.
