The HEMS pictures which follow were posted in response to a request by the Royal Aeronautical Society for pictures to be included in an information programme for schools showing various tasks helicopters can perform.

We were asked asked if we could provide photographs of casevacs from a road or railway accident.

That Dauphin on the railway tracks appears to have its rear left wheel wedged in between two pieces of track?

It would call for a very precise lift off!
