Found a few more, couple showing the typical package that goes out from Kandahar. Every flight that goes over a certain distance has an Apache gunship that goes with it.

Also saw an armed predator there which was cool.

Fantastic stuff.

I've learnt more about what the military is doing out there from these pictures than from all the news reports I've seen.

Good going!

Nice shots.

Trivia question of the day: what's the significance of the Royal Travel Office S-76 (the 'purple' one at the top) registration?

Thumbs up Magic

Ned,

In the helicopter photography world, you are the man

The scenery reminds me of the time when I was flying in Iran, as a young pilot back in the 1970s. Great shots

G-xxea

It is the reverse from the registration mark from one the royal family's first family owned aircraft, an Airspeed Envoy III, G-AEXX, the first aircraft purchased specifically for The King's Flight.

Yes, all my own work.

The cameras were Canon EOS 300D or a 20D Depending on which photo.

Lens was either a Canon 70-300 zoom, or a 300L USM IS fixed lens.

Ned:

Please keep the pictures coming.

I would buy a T-shirt if the profits went to a non-profit organization that you select.
