Pandalet, yes it is a GPU cable. It allows for a much faster start-up time, no waiting for an Amp drop to start the second engine. As soon as the 1st engine is self-sustaining, you push the start switch acrooss to start the second. The 427 has a partial FADEC, you must monitor the Temp and close the throttle manually should it start to go hot.

It is a tuneable HF aerial. If I remember correctly, the length actually changes dependent on the frequency tuned in. The idea being to give optimum signal reception for a relatively small aerial system.

Depends on the company you keep and the kind of q’s that float out, the following is often an explanation accepted with great plausability and wise head nodding.
“The red button on the top of the cyclic? Why that is connected to the long stick out in front, the same as an electric cattle prod, used to prod particularly slow cattle”
Of course I could say that it was an aerial with an internal device that had a great wheel connected via a bowden cable to move a slug up and down the thick part to tune in a particular HF frequency. Not many countries use HF.
But of course you might then think that I was having a lend of you.

Been looking at this long enough.
Yours truly at the Salthill Airshow, Co Galway, (not watching the sun go down on the bay, either!).

BIG MIKE> R22DRIVER, check out Ned's photo of the 500 in New Zealand. You can see an HF aerial attached underneath as well.
This one is a aerial for tracking Judas collars and tagged kiwi's in the bush.
