PTC past and present

I would like to hear from any students past or present that have had a problems with PTC. Do you think your money was well spent , wot did you think of the training , did you ever feel like you were being buillied into keeping your mouth shut with any problems you had about the place . I know I am not the only one that has felt like this . So I am starting this thread to see who has the balls to say wot they really think of the place . All I can say is I am glad to get out of the place . I would also like to hear from any body that has finished up and got a job placement within the two months that PTC promise.

I'm a current student and havent had any problems. The only people ive seen drop from the course are people who badly struggled with the ppl and hour building in florida and people who struggled with the atpls. My only criticism of PTC was allowing some of these people onto the course in the first place i.e poor screening/maybe not caring enough if the people were up to the course so long as they could afford it. But i think theyve tightened up their selection process recently.

So tell us why exactly did you leave? And if you have such big balls why dont you use your real name?

Well Mark seems like you are having a good time at PTC , do you think the rest of your class mates are . Lets hope that you feel the same way when you are finished up. By the way Mark how are you funding the cost of your training , if you got a loan how are you planing on paying this back if you dont get a job in the 2 months that PTC say . AS for my name lets just call me Mr X . If you think I am a drop out from PTC think again I went tru PTC and Hated every moment of it . I just posted this thread to see have they sorted out the problems with the place

Grrr to all X Men

Well well Mr. X (aka Big Balls), lol. Looks like someone has a personal vendetta against PTC…? Looking at your past posts you have not had a decent or constructive thing to say about any FTO but seem to bash PTC at every given chance.

And btw when quoting the great Mr. Bush get the quote right! The quote is ‘fool me once shame on you , fool me twice shame on me!’

And in any case, it seems you had a bad experience at PTC because you didn’t focus hard enough judging by your post on the ‘Bristol GS Database’ pprune where you said ‘you cant get tru the exams with out knowing your subjects well , belive me i have tryed it.’ I’m sure you’ll find many people with grievances about all FTOs but that doesn’t mean one mans experience tells the whole picture. I have been in touch with many people that have trained with PTC and so far only one or two have had bad enough experiences to warrant causion.

Although pprune has been an eye-opener for me I have learnt to take posts such as yours with a pinch of salt. Many people here either have personal reasons to condemn a company/person or are paid to do so!

When you say you went 'tru' ptc, what exactly do you mean? Did you pass all your atpls? Did you do the CPL/MEIR? Did you even get a ppl? You seem to be withholding alot of information, what have you got to hide about your performance?

As reguards your other questions aimed at me ie. my finances, well thats none of your ******* business mate, maybe if you post your real name and your training record to back up your claims ill consider answering your questions.

Well Mark when I say I went tru PTC I did my ATPLs ME/IR conversion with PTC so I know wot goes on in the place , its full of spoilt brats straight out of school that just want to become pilots because they want to earn big money not for the love of flying . I did most of my flying In the U.S as I belive all of PTCs students do . How can PTC call the Airline course they offer a fully intergrated course , the place sickins me the price they charge for wot is clearly a modular course. I am not anti PTC they have some very good Instructors and some bad ones like most FTOs but the place needs to get its act together as regard to the way it treats its students and the lack of ground school training . I have worked with a few guys that have gone to PTC and they all have the same to say about the place . As for Chillynob people would not have to resort to Bristol if places like PTC done the job right , and for the Mr Bush quote its wot he said in one of he speeches , you obviously have no sense of humour As for being paid to bash PTC cop yourself on . So were all the people to back me up or do I stand alone with my balls In a wheelbarrow . PPrune I love it

maxpower1770's true identity will be exposed soon enough, not many people have finished in PTC this past while with grievances as big as his! Only takes time to put one and one together!

PTC have NEVER called their course a fully intergrated airline course. Everyone on the airline course knows that, they are told at the interview that its PPL, CPL, ME/IR with distance learning ATPL's.

PTC is not full of spoilt brats straight out of school, there are many students who's ages range from 18-45. I joined PTC straight out of school and I certainly don't consider myself a spolit brat and neither do any of my colleagues or friends for that matter. If I had of wanted a career with big bucks I wouldn't of chosen flying, I would of went to college to get a degree.

I agree with ChillyDogg, you do not have anything constructive to add to the Professional Pilot Training forum nor do you offer any indication as to why you bash PTC at every opportunity. I would love to hear your reasons for what seems to be a vendetta against this FTO.

As regards to backing you up, if I have issues with PTC I don't hide behind an anonymous user name on an internet forum, I tell them out straight I have a problem and get it sorted. Its always worked!

In summary, it is obvious that you do stand alone "with your balls In a wheelbarrow"

PPrune I love it

Well Mr Night its a very expensive PPL ,CPL ME/IR . I have to say I did meet some good guys at PTC but the most were brats that are not fit to fly a kite . I just felt sorry for the younger guys and girls at PTC you found it very hard going with the ATPLs and with aircraft control , alot were scared to ask questions for the fear of PTC chargeing for this , not great for morale. I am not a total PTC basher they have some great Instructors that really know there stuff . It really suprises me at how easy people get worked up on this site from a few comments . Do you and MR Coalman by any chance have shares in PTC or are you just going for the brownie points. By the way are the 2 know it all Kiwis still at PTC , god bless em . I know I am not the first to post bad stuff about PTC and I am sure I wont be the last and after all these are just my opinions and thats wot PPrune is all about , peoples opinions . The whole PTC atmosphere was a bit dull for my liking after all flight trainning is suposed to be fun and its very hard to learn in an environment like that . PPrune its fantastic
