XXX,
An SR20 with a TAS of 176 knots
Who are you trying to kid!
Did anyone else notice the trend bars?
Seems XXX was actually diving down from a greater height with iPhone in hand, pulled up at 6600 with 5 deg nose up, and look at the altitude trend bar, shooting way higher, and the airspeed shooting down.......
Nice try there
Your later pic with a TAS around 145 is far more believable.....as this lines up with my SR20 owner friends figures.

Don't worry Owen, he's just hurting because he's burning 65 litres per hour at the moment.
I guess that's easy for fuel planning though.
1 hour = $100.
2 hours = $200
and so on......

So XXX... you're telling us a Cub can keep up with your SR20?
Lot busier than my days there when it was just me and 4 milliion flies!
DF.
Dr and Jaba, I'll take you on, on a fuel cost per kilometre basis!
A090, 2300 rpm/21.5" MP (about 65% power), 50 L/hr, IAS 140 kts, TAS 164 kts.
The birds have it all wrong with this flying south business!
GS = 145 kts most of the way, and Toowoomba was blowing 28 kts gusting to 33 kts - and freezing frigging cold!

XXX, dependant on what engine it was fitted with. the 235 was worse than the 160. I found the Cawlair was worse. the Agwagon and thrush were a dodle after that.

I think you'll find the 206s were too busy in the air to attract any flies. Maybe you could come out from Melbourne for the weekend in the cirrus and 'do it tough' out here again? Some of your boys have been livin the dream and working hard out here for months and you just come for visits!
BTW you should try the camp fire every night for a decent feed and a bit of atmosphere!
