The water first went over the Burdekin Dam spillway on 5th January and up to 10th February, 14,370,000ML have gone over the wall.
It peaked at 6.63M above the spillway on 5th February and approx 1,570,000ML of water went over the spillway in that 24 hr period.
The record was 6.68M set in Feb 1991.
The dam holds 1,860,000ML when full so it took about 28 hrs to spill its own volume.

It is a crying shame that our so called Leaders did not follow up on his ideas, they were good.
Our Politicians want the people's votes but do very little to plan for the sustainability of that same population.

You can just see the 'ski jump' in the middle of Leigh Creek's runway ...
