There's been a long running belief that Saudi (and Taiwan, S Korea & Japan) has the knowledge to build a bomb quite quickly - and of course they have the $$$$ as well

The top Iranian Air Force gathered to plan a missile attack on Israel and was eliminated during the meeting. - Mossad Commentary (not official account)
On the strikes against IRGC Air Force leadership: Israel tricked the top command of Iran’s air force into a meeting and then kept them there, I’m told by an Israeli security official. “We did specific activities to help us understand things about them and then used that information to make them act in a specific way,” the official said. “We knew this would make them meet, but more importantly we knew how to keep them there.” - Fox News - Trey Yingst Chief Foreign Correspondent (on ground in Israel) |

I wonder how and at what point Russia will assist their Iranian allies. I doubt it will be militarilly, but I assume assymetrically. So intelligence gathering and relaying and possibly subversion and terrorist assistance.

Additional details from an Israeli security source: When the initial wave was launched, that included the targeting of IRGC leadership and scientists, more than 20 sites were hit in less than 15 minutes amid solely at taking out these individuals. The Israelis ramped up intel gathering over the past year, preparing for this moment. They identified exact apartments and offices of their targets. The strikes were more successful than the Israelis expected they would be, I'm told. |

Be a shame if Israel happened to strike the Iranian drone making facilities that are being utilized against Ukraine. |
Drones being built to operate in Ukraine can also be used against Israel - why not destroy them while you are there

Gotta admit, shades of the Six Day War.in 1967. Especially hitting the port.

Iran's 2 x drone motherships moved out of port to escape air attacks - 6km off coast. Perhaps an IDF SSK will ignore the 22km territorial limit

June 13 (Reuters) - Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is alive and is being continuously briefed about the situation, a security source told Reuters, following an Israeli attack on Iran early on Friday. |
The one thing we can be sure of now - there will be no nuclear retaliation tonight
There may be a price to pay but you can be sure the Saudis will be relieved that Israel has removed the nuclear threat for now |
