Rumours in the Twitterverse, unconfirmed, that Putin will declare War on Ukraine tomorrow. Might have something to do with him and the top team disappearing for the next few days. Perhaps they have taken up residence in the Führer bunker to avoid the fallout of whatever they do next.

Or is this a demo run to a heavier body-blow slugfest? Putin could still declare that a land grab was never his aim, merely a sharp war of attrition to show Ukraine what Russia was capable of and that he did not enjoy having his bluff called.
