Of course not; both sides put out propaganda. The big difference is that we in the west have access to both sides of the story and can make up out own minds. Maybe one day the people of Russia will have that access as well.

Have to say, our propaganda is classier.. Biden's team absolutely nailed it when they put out that story about Russia requesting support from China. Who knows whether its true or not, given how many times they've cried wolf over the past few months, but it clearly riled the Russians ("no super-power card for you!", as someone put it on Twitter).

But you're right, I think we're a bit more immune to taking anything at face value nowadays.

I had tried to get rid of the damned flags, but as I have said in the past, this PC will not show the links at all in the threads so I cannot do anything about them, I do try to remove them on my other PC, as for believing the Ukraine, I am objective and if anything has not been verified from both sides I add that it is unverified.

Considering how quickly the State (be it Russia or China) clamps down on the media (traditional and social) when there are stories or pictures it doesn't like - we can consider ourselves very fortunate to have the access to the full spectrum of news.
