Russia lost a BMP that was built in Ukraine, captured by Russia in Georgia and then displayed in a museum prior to being sent to its destruction in Ukraine.

Looks like it’s not just at the top with Putin and his deputies - murders and arguments over division of the spoils of war extending all the way down the chain….

Visually identified losses yesterday - obviously a major battle somewhere - look at the number of tanks lost….

If that happens, the ammunition often explodes, killing everyone and completely destroying the vehicle.[43] During the fighting in Afghanistan and Chechnya, hits by RPGs penetrated the BMP-1's armor in 95% of cases. This often resulted in the vehicle burning until the ammunition exploded.[42] Due to these limitations, Soviet/Russian soldiers customarily rode on the outside of the BMP-1, sitting on top of the hull while in combat zones.[46]

Meanwhile, whilst the Biden administration has been stalling on letting Ukraine use its missiles and GBUs to hit Russian territory, the Ukrainian wng8neers haven’t stopped working…..

Ukraine’s New ‘Long Neptune’ Cruise Missile Could Strike Anywhere In Crimea—And Russian Territory Beyond

Ukraine is developing a “long” version of its ground-launched Neptune cruise missile—one of its main weapons for striking Russian forces deep behind the front line of Russia’s 22-month wider war on Ukraine.

The coming of the Long Neptune is good news for advocates of a free Ukraine. Especially considering the possible throttling of U.S. support for the Ukrainian war effort. Throttling that’s being advanced by a minority of pro-Russian Republicans in the U.S. Congress.

The news broke on Monday in ArmyInform’s interview with Lt. Gen. Ivan Gavrylyuk, Ukraine’s deputy minister of defense. “Currently, work is underway to create the so-called ‘Long Neptune,’" Gavrylyuk said. “This is a new modification of the missile for the Neptune complex.”…..

The Long Neptune is just one of several domestic deep-strike munitions. They also include newly-produced copies of the classic Tochka ballistic missile.

It’s not for no reason Kyiv is prioritizing the development of indigenous deep-strike missiles. Supplies of foreign deep-strike missiles are thin—and could get thinner….

The Commission has approved the proposal to be brought before Parliament. By one single vote. Parliament will take up the proposal not before March 2025. Chances of me getting pregnant are higher than the proposal going through Parliament.

It’s a tragedy of historic proportions and I am deeply ashamed of my country.

I notice with concern an ever increasing trend (verging on a deluge) on t'internet for recycling days or even weeks old videos labelled as though they were recent making it artificially look as though much more damage is being done than is the reality.
Equally a notable lack of recent videos of anti-personnel grenade-drops. There used to be lots of them. Where have they gone? What's changed? Tactics or video-feeds? It must be one or the other.
Is all this because there really is a lack of genuine and recent videos - in which case why - or is there some other reason? I fear it is all too easy in this video-controlled age to create a misleading and unrealistic narrative via e-media, and I sense that Ukraine is not doing nearly as well well as we'd all like it to and that we're being fed a considerably modified version of the reality.

Further, the absolutely infuriating habit of Youtube in particular to obliterate the last 25% of a video with leaders for further vids, making the current one unwatchable often at the most important time. Who does this, and ffs why?

l

As did the Americans in Vietnam, who would often ride on top of the M113 sitting on flak jackets, because of their worries about hitting a mine, as the APC was built out of aluminium.

I could post tons of video links of Russians getting blown to bits from air dropped or suicide drones, but I tended to stop because, one, you tend to get desensitised to the fact you are watching people die, no matter who’s side they are on. And , two, does it really show what is happening in the wider picture of things. I will post a couple of late for you.

Beware Graphic

Remember the hangar with the two SU 34’s in that was hit by Ukrainian drone?

Well it has gone, no I don’t mean it’s been knocked down, it has physically gone and so has the jets, all that is left is the concrete slab.

re post #11232 and youtubby inundating you with ads: use a browser like Brave, which makes that site a completely ad-and-trailer-free zone. Re lack of recent "unpleasant" vids, I take it you don't look at reddit? Ample supply there, along with footage of drone-vs-drone, captured turtle-tank, etc

Russian bases on the Finnish border are virtually empty as the forces and equipment have been sent to Ukraine.

A “hero” of the SMO released from prison and filmed robbing old women with violence, one hopes in his near future he meets his end on a pick axe handle.

Beware… this is sickening to the core and contains extreme violence to OAP’s, watch at your own risk.
