Ukrainian soldiers are the best in the world because they are re-recruited Russians???????????? What about the Russian Russians then?

A Russian post, basically taking out silo's and I would imagine nothing to do with manpower claims, they are just an excuse.
Prighozhin attending African summit in St Petersburg ?
Maybe Putin saw this as a sales opportunity for Wagner in Africa, but you certainly can't say that Prighozhin has been banished from the top table

Russian media publish this screenshot* of Prigozhin reportedly meeting with representatives of the Central African Republic at the Russia-Africa summit in St Petersburg. (This means that Prigozhin is in Russia and freely visits an official event where Putin also spoke).
............................................................ ..........
TV transmission of the summit was interrupted when there was indirect criticism of Putin. The leader of the AU commission , Moussa Faki Mahamat, , said that the Russian/Ukrainian war is worsening the food crisis and this is causing Africa to suffer.

Agreed, one reply came which is heartening and that was from a guy that did the same a year ago, so he must be surviving on the skills he was taught.
One year later At this rate, a beard may even grow by the end of the war
Nostalgia took over, the guys seem to be in the same camp where we were a year ago

Ecce Homo! Loquitur...
Russia lunched a complex missile strike yesterday in an attempt to destroy the Su-24 aircraft and Storm Shadow missiles at the Starokostiantyniv Air Base in western Ukraine.
The attack is reported to have consisted of a coordinated strike consisting of 36 cruise missile from different directions and with a multitude of different flight paths along with 4 ballistic missiles including 2 Khinzal.
Cruise missiles are reported as all having been destroyed and no significant damage from the BMs.
I am presuming that such a strategic air base and assets are covered by layers of short and long range SAW including Patriot and the aircraft are/were dispersed in HAZ or revetments or even FOBs when not being loaded.

It seems the British Lancers are helping patrol the Polish border too... On horseback. I bet they never forsaw that action when they joined up.

If they were smart enough to build it clearly inside Polish territory as I earlier questioned, they could do both now. If this is a current photo, I am very surprised that there are still migrants attempting illegal ( anybody so inclined, don't bother writing that people aren't "illegal , it's just time-wasting ) crossings: I wouuld have thought that Lukaschenko would have tossed them all out of the country when his earlier "immigrant-wave " tactics failed.

Many of Colonel Oleksandr Sak’s 47th mechanised brigade are too young to know rule from Moscow, having been born after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991.
But the 28 year old and his youthful Western-trained troops are clear there can be no return to such a fate, either for themselves, or the generations of Ukrainians yet to come.

I really really hope to hell that these young guys prevail.
