Long thread. Seems unlikely - but it is Russia. The differing tales about what’s happening inside Russia may be Maskirovka - or an indication of the power struggles taking place….

Osechkin: Transition of power in Russia is already in process.

Note: It may still take a while but Putin's reign is coming to an end and the process has already begun in an attempt to prevent a scenario of a 'failed state.'

Note that this does not mean the only place training will take place - just what the Dutch have arranged.

The Netherlands will send F-16 fighter jets to an airbase in Romania where Ukrainian pilots will be trained on the F-16s.

Training will start in August

Remarkable that apart from one who committed suicide, every single German agent landed in the UK was caught. Some were turned and used by British Intelligence to supply misinformation, the rest were imprisoned or executed. Highly recommend Ben Mcintyre’s books on the subject.

Let’s hope he’s right they’re all accounted for - the absence of any would give perfect cover for any false flag explosion in UKR or elsewhere…

Just as we reported on June 25th, day after the sudden end to the coup: Wagner captured the Voronezh-45 nuclear facility during the coup and that precipitated the sudden & bizarre negotiated end of the coup.

Sushko has been outed multiple times on twitter for making up blatant lies for likes. He/She/It is not a reliable source at all. Just like the racist tyre guy everyone here seems to love.

I remember reading that there was a British agent who was employed by the Germans (unwittingly) to help prepare their agents to live and operate in the UK and blend in so that they wouldn't be detected. A lot of things he deliberately taught the German spies subtly gave them away. No wonder so may got caught.

KeepItStraight, Now that is really interesting, please tell me more. I have read John Masterman's book on the Double Cross System and my wife's aunt worked for him in Wormwood Scrubs. What you wrote in your post sounds very plausible.

Reference #2723, more reports indicating a major power struggle under way within Russia….

Conspirologist Girkin says he believes Prigozhin's mutiny was "successful" and the balance of power is shifting in the Russian leadership with powers backing Prigozhin slowly taking over. He says they want to lead Russia to withdraw from war.

I say they're going to lose either way but any internal struggle is welcome - great observation by the terrorist.…

BREAKING:

Handelsblatt reports that German government has decided to terminate its agreement with Poland to set up a repair center for damaged Ukrainian Leopard 2 tanks in the country.

The German side argues that the Polish price demands were too high.

For most of these twitter links I can only see the original comment but none of the content, as I am not a twitter user. Am I alone in this? For example, in this link I see only the headline but none of the 'long thread'.

Ben Wallace being remarkably undiplomatic….

https://news.sky.com/story/uk-not-an...llace-12919765

UK not an Amazon delivery service for weapons to Ukraine, says defence secretary Ben Wallace

The minister said "whether we like it or not people want to see gratitude" for weapons sent to Ukraine, adding that Kyiv needs to "persuade doubting politicians in other countries that you know that it's worth it".

From the NY Times today:

Gen. Sergei Surovikin of Russia, a onetime ally of the Wagner chief who hasn’t been seen publicly since a short-lived mutiny last month, is “taking a rest,” one of the country’s top lawmakers said Wednesday, when pressed by a reporter.

“He is unavailable right now,” the lawmaker, Andrei Kartapolov, the head of the Russian Duma’s defense committee, added in a video posted on the Telegram messaging app before hurrying away from the reporter.

RIP General

And Wagner said they were short of ammo, I’m assuming the 2500 tons of the stuff wasn’t arrows.

They have arrested someone over the “murder” of the Russian sub officer, and I use the term “murder” lightly as he was serving and participating in the war and hence I just see him as a dead combatant, just as anyone at the front line…

One does wonder if the arrest is actually the shooter or simply an expedience to reassure the public at home that Russia is bringing people to book.

BBC … Lt Gen Oleg Tsokov is said to have died in a strike on a hotel housing Russian military commanders in Berdyansk, on Ukraine's occupied southern coast.

Totally agree with this, Biden needs to decisively arm Ukraine to win and stop pussy footing around.

https://themessenger.com/opinion/bid...um=latest_news

As we near the August “dog days” of summer, the opening stages of Ukraine’s long-anticipated counteroffensive are proving challenging and costly in troops and equipment. Russia’s amassing of 180,000 troops in the Donbas — 50,000 near Bakhmut alone — threatens a new series of meat-grinder engagements along the eastern front. Kyiv cannot afford another series of Bakhmut-like engagements and the heavy losses they are sure to cost.

Kyiv finds itself in this predicament primarily because of the Biden administration’s long-standing escalation paralysis. Concern about how Russian President Vladimir Putin might react to Western assistance to Ukraine has plagued the Biden administration’s decision-making when it comes to green-lighting weapon systems and ammunition suites that Ukraine needs to win. Instead, Biden keeps defaulting to a “just-enough” strategy to keep Ukraine in the fight without posing a threat to the Putin regime.

In this vein, Biden’s announcement that he has approved equipping Ukraine with dual-purpose improved conventional munitions (DPICMs) — commonly known as cluster bombs — was a tacit admission that the White House egregiously failed to anticipate Ukraine’s requirements and its troops’ ability to integrate those weapon systems into combat operations. It began with HIMARS, followed by the Leopard 2 and Abrams main battle tanks, and the Patriot missile defense system. Now, as ATACMS and F-16s remain on the sideline, cluster bombs have been introduced as a stopgap.

Very reasonable comment as I see it.. If Zelensky is always going to scream " Not Enough " every time, then it's the kid crying wolf. Zelensky has made himself a very big media figure, but needs to understand that that is not always the best way to achieve his objectives.

Bravo to Ben Wallace for having slapped him in the chops.

On the contrary, i would see that - as well as his other attributes - as a perfect canddate - and hope it will happen in 2024.

Wallace's remarks were mainly for consumption by the right wing of his party back home.
