They're helping Artie Beetson look for the prop that hit Jack Newton.

(For those unfamiliar, Jack Newton was a pro golfer who walked into an aircraft propellor and lost an arm. Artie Beetson was a Rugby League coach. Prop forward is a defensive position in Rugby League.)

(Not a caption)
Jack Newton was a pro golfer who walked into an aircraft propellor and lost an arm.
Actually, he also lost an eye and a lot of intestines, which led to a couple of sick jokes:
Q: What force does it take to stop an aeroplane propellor?
A(1) One Newton
A(2) A strong arm, a good eye, and a lot of guts.
