OK, a quick competition is a fast competition.

Poor Buster and Nutty always seem to cop a bit of stick. But funny.

For the most innovative comment, I have to hand the trophy to Kiltrash with this one:

Pilot escape drill from stalled helicopter with total engine seizure shows promise
Rotsa ruck.

(The dude on the end of the string was having a birthday, and there were bags of flour to follow the hosing down. He was really pasted.)

At the inquest the pilot did say he was surprised to find a mountain goat at 30000 feet

Hoskins was glad this was not down to him, he has a ready made alibi, as he was still hanging around on a rope
or
Pilot to ATC reporting breaking action is better than expected,... ATC to Pilot, yes the tarmac is a bit soft today
or
Having fitted extra 50 cal's in the nose the recoil was found to be worrying
or
For crew meals the Navigator whipped up a particularly strong curry to keep the crew warm had unforeseen side effects
or,and goodnight from me
At least this was one accident where the props are re use able
