The new OH&S unit, funded by the MOD through cuts to unnecessary combat-related capability and augmented by a social worker, exercise their all-terrain vehicles before deployment to Afghanistan.

Leading on from recent media reports of Police to escort Elderly home from the bank, Mrs Miggins (back right) welcomed the rapid deployment of the close protection force but she could help but wonder why she also needed the RNLI given she lived in land locked Fulchester...

The FRES programme products to be used by all three services disappointed the Army and RAF. But once it was revealed that sea rescue was one of the roles to be fulfilled, it was generally accepoted that the Navy had fared worse.
