So it is true, Sepecat did indeed manipulate the performance figures of the Jaguar by hitching a ride in the slipstream of the SR71.

This recently discovered photograph is thought to show Louis Bleriot attempting his second crossing of the English Channel, in 1910, accompanied by his fellow aeronauts Messrs. Wilbur and Orville Wright in their flying machines.

Aviation has always seen particularly rapid developments.

The American aircraft may look quite impressive, but the sales and export figures leave no doubt: the British* Jaguar is the superior product.
