Brantham's Butchers, Purveyors of Fine Meats to the City of Leeds, mounted a valiant private entry in the 1910 Schneider Trophy, but were unfortunately disqualified as they had failed to note a seaplane or flying boat was required.
According to the rather magnificent looking chap I bought it off, this bit makes it go up-tiddly-up-up and go down-tiddly-down-down, but after that I'm at a bit of a loss.
Official RAF photo provided as proof that they had in fact been active over Dunkirk did not fool anybody.
