Evoking memories of the Christmas day truce in the First World War the 3rd Panzer Division invite the opposing Russian troops to a friendly bear hug, but this all turned nasty when Bruin realised Pvt Gruber, middle back, spoilt the picture by showing rabbit ears above his head

Paddington was in a reflective mood. Had he travelled east from Peru rather than west then he would have found a family to feed him marmalade sandwiches. As it was, he was destined to be posted to the Kursk Front.

Edvard was fortunate to be the mascot of the 3rd Panzer Division instead of becoming a hat with the Coldstream Guards!
