Been invited to the PSP in ATLANTA too.. but no replies from the PSP team after confirming the dates.. seems like there are some people with the same problem right ?

ATL march
Got the interview invitation and am confirmed for the sim in ATL in march. Application was submitted around November 4th.
Interesting they are already planning to come back in June. Applications must've skyrocketed in the US recently. |
flight tickets
Emirates pay for the flight tickets for ATL interview? or have to be out of pockets
thank you guys for the info |
Do they doing the Stage 1 & 2 in DXB at all?
|
You are responsible for getting and staying in ATL. EK will take care of the trip to DXB.
|
I'm going to assessments in DXB in April. There were dates in DXB for March but I couldn't make those.
|
Thank you for answer my qs, is kind of hard to believe than EK doesn't cover that cost,
someone know the rate of failing the interviews? |
60% failure rate.....:-0
They also do the whole 4 days in Dubai for some. In which case your costs are covered. |
Hello everybody,
Confirmed PSP1 and 2 on march in ATL! :ok: Any idea of what sim that will be used? B738, MD11, A300? :8 Is the known drill still valid? Good luck! |
Are EK bases still a possibility?
Just a quick question to all the EK guys.... is there still talk of the possibility of an EK base away from Dubai, specifically in the USA?
Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere in this thread, but just needed the latest rumor first hand, if anyone has the gen! Thanks. |
No bases outside of UAE.
It is not even discussed by management. |
OK, thanks for the info.
|
Stage !
Does someone know about the material is questioned in the compas test

logbook verification
Has anyone been to the interview recently in Dubai? Did you need your logbook stamped and certified before attending the selection programme?
|
You do not need to have your logbook stamped/certified for the selection process. I did not, and that was not a problem. You will need to have it stamped/singed before joining though....
|
Thanks lospilotos, that's good to know. Out of curiosity, when was your interview?
|
Is there any JAA authority that does that, or is it your previous employer? Would Emirates accept paper company certificates as proof or is it the logbook required?
Thans. |
@DROOSH: My final interview in DXB was a couple of weeks ago.
@priorityright: You can only claim the hours that you have in your logbook, AND you need to have that signed by your previous employer or have a letter stating the hours flown. I guess if you´ve lost all your logbooks and you can prove 2500 hours jet from previous you could be accepted, but your perhaps 4000 other hours would be lost when it comes to hours for command etc. I am myself missing a couple of old logbooks but AFAIK that´s OK as long as I have the 2500 jet proven. |
What if you have had several employers over the last few years? Do you need every one of them to certify the logbook? Some of the employers are out of business now.
