what a complete and utter **** you are! Not only are you quite simply a deluded and offensive poster, you now are willing EK to penalise the 777 pilots.

those same pilots that never chose what happened, and continued to work their butts off on 22hr turnarounds ( and still do) for half pay bringing in revenue.

I make no defence for how the situation was handled but to actively wish ill on a similar work group is just about as crap as it gets.

Lets not forget the 777 boys who were not just on unpaid leave but were terminated totally. I think the 777 guys took a bad hit the last time.
Its not about 777 vs 380, its about decency and that was and is sadly lacking on managements behalf.

I left EK after 11 years recently… best move I’ve ever made!

I now drive myself to work in my own car that doesn’t stink of farts, bliss.

There are a lot of hugely frustrated individuals here, including me. Just visit MS. Bending over all the time is the cause. Luckily we can take it out on other less "fortunate" people by pretending we are not labourers.

It is true we flew max during the past years but to take it out on each other, is bs. Almost all frustration is caused by the company. And of course you have some "super" pilot mofoos who still believe that bigger is better. They have to compensate for many things. In the end everyone will get their share.

Its a place where people can literally have somebody wipe their bottom. That attracts the wrong sorts. Went in all day today at MS, wall to wall of c***ts talking rubbish!

You don’t realize how undervalued you really were until you’re out!
Out of interest where would someone go? One would assume you had reached the top. It is still a decent package at the end of the day compared elsewhere.

Your home is a whole continent, not a luxury many have. Still a proper choice but salary down to 6k EUR has consequences. 22 on 8 off or unpaid.

i guess some management friends will
be the first. From there it depending if 380 are leaving the sand pit for good.
mentality hasn’t changed there. Some senior FO will be transfered and possible loose a year or 2 to command because suddenly they need 1000h on type. Some direct entries
bottom line how ever they feel at the time of need.

From a work versus lifestyle balance, it is no where near decent. No flexible working such as part-time and minimal control over your roster, regardless of seniority. You don't find very many that aim to stay to retirement age and those that do, most likely have a have an unfortunate passport and or DXB is safer and more stable than where home is.

If they're so good, why have most failed the Wizz Air assessment in Hungary?

I have always thought that our management and many senior captains in ek wouldn’t be able to get a job ANYWHERE else particularly not back in the real world.

The recruitment processes for competitive positions in the UAE seem to purposely target narcissistic extroverts. No wonder so many have such life problems here. EK is no different in that respect. Many Ek guys are literally unemployable, good job a huge recession isn’t coming .

well there had been 3 ex EK management pilots who thought they going to change EU aviation. 2 lasted 1,5 years. One did not make it at all.
