it is better to create a Telegram chat. it allows you to hide your phone number and use multiple usernames instead. This is what people did during the Hong Kong protests.

I think it's a good Idea...Just stay away from public Whatsapp groups.

Going back to the many topic... I heard they have slowed down on all the recruitment because training is saturated. So need to be patient.

Almost all the folks I know who applied in March / April got rejected after weeks of waiting and these guys were pretty good at what they did (Both boeing and airbus rated).

Probably house full now.

Ironically, they keep inviting the candidates to qatar. Rich airline is quite cool, for only 2~3 candidates selection. They inviting 12 to qatar with offering all expenses.

@Fenirlix, how many guys got positive results brother

How long is the process to get invitation to Qatar for assessment? Airbus rated. It says application will be reviewed by the recruiter for a while

beware

If you're applying for Qatar airways as an f/o be aware that upgrade might not come before 10-12 years in the company. Although they claim to have recommenced upgrade from internal sources, they're still prioritising direct entry captains. It looks like they're upgrading just about enough people to show the carrot to f/os who are applying. You might not ever be able to taste that carrot.

Then as you about to upgrade they force you to transfer fleet, that means they bond you and fleet freeze you for 2 years. So still no upgrade.
Still no loss of license insurance, no salary increase, although biggest profit in history. And inflation in doha skyrocketed.
And the cherry is that they lowered the meal allowance at a rate that is below the actual cost for a meal at the hotel. So basically a salary deduction in the last year. Oh and don't think you will get your whole salary at once every month, there will be an excuse of eid holiday or something to pay your flight pay and allowance 2 weeks later.

I'm hearing the hold pool is filling up and not many courses available mostly going to airbus drivers. Seems the big recruitment is finally slowing.
