AFD, just to get this straight, I never said they will not hire italian pilots, even if you resist on saying so, I said they will not be able to hire pilots for LHITA without an agreement with the LH unions and its still like that.
Its a big issue at present with the LH union and I mentioned this before, we have to see what will happen, but I think that at the moment less people will pass the selection, as the future is very uncertain.
Once they get an agreement, more people will pass the selection and due to this I will delay my SIM.
I know that most of you have a lot of faith in LH and its a good company to work for, but at the end its like in every company, the less people they need the less people will pass, once they need more, more will pass.
But at the moment LH does not need an AOC for LHITA, as long as they fly within the EU, they can do it with LH A/C and Crew, even to the US they can do it, only for ex EU they need the AOC and one think would be possible:
Just have 1-2 a/c in the AOC of LHITA, with crew and then go to Moscow etc.
Easy like that.
Lets wait and see and hope the best.
About stipendi, no they will not be the same, but there are no infos so far.
But LH salaries are not very high, friend of mine, FO B744, 8 years LH takes about 4200-4500€ net, a FO in AP takes about 4500€ net with 70h after 1 year.
I think the conditions will be slightly higher than those of EN.

... è finita...
Ciao Ragazzi,
Tutto viene rimesso in discussione e riconsiderato.

But at the moment LH does not need an AOC for LHITA
it says they registered an italian company called LUFTHANSA ITALIA S.P.A.
They also asked the italian civil aviation authority the AOC,and if you read the news you will check what heike Birlenbach said
Entro fine anno è previsto il rilascio definitivo dell'AOC
i translate to english
The AOC release is expected to be at the end of the year
bye

Costituita oggi Lufthansa Italia Spa

AFD, please try to read what I write, if you have difficulties in understanding english, let me know and I will try in my poor italian.
But I said, the do not NEED an italian AOC,(non hanno bisogno) which means they could continue like they do now for years, without hireing pilots for LHITA and just put the AOC on hold until they have the agreement with the union.
See LH Cargo, doing flights from MXP to ORD and JFK, no need for italian Pilots or AOC, just doing it.
When the first pilots have signed the contract for LHITA and the first A/C have an italian registration, we might now where this is going.

if you read again my previous post maybe you'll be able to understand that it's not so important what you're trying to say, because they have ALREADY asked the AOC
so let me ask you why should they ask something they don't really need?
did you understand what heike birlenbach said during the last aircraft ceremony which took place in malpensa?
she said they asked few weeks ago the aoc to italian enac and it's gonna be received at the end of the year
don't they need it? well in this case they're loosing their time and money
just put the AOC on hold until they have the agreement with the union.
believing they are recruiting to put all the succesful applicants into a holding pool forever it's a your right
but i suggest you to disappear from this forum if one of them will sign a contract with lufthansa italia
When the first pilots have signed the contract for LHITA and the first A/C have an italian registration
i see you begin to understand
for that wait the end of the year and you will be satisfied
don't stop believing they're screening in order to put every succesful applicants in a holding pool
don't stop believing they're recruiting to not hire
i suggest you to go to your union to ask information about what lufthansa is doing
bye
